We keep our house chilly, so my son's recent desire to be sockless has been a concern. Then I discovered why he likes to be without socks; so he can play with his toes. Socks are strewn about the house (see one to the left of his knee?) because we have to keep getting new socks when we lose one (or both!) of the socks he was just wearing. I often find him in this exact position in the middle of the kitchen after dinner.
